frequently asked questions

  • No! Although our pictures may look like a “field of flowers”, it’s probably just the angle. We plant each seed, tuber and corm by hand in rows with specific plant spacing and drip irrigation. Each flower variety you see was also carefully selected for its specific colors and qualities. We do not purchase or grow any “wildflower” seed mixes and also purchase our seeds, tubers and corms from reputable companies/farms located in the United States. We do not plant any imported seeds. It’s very important to us to support our country’s agriculture and fellow farmers.

  • Yes! With proper care, they should last roughly 5-10 days. Flowers like dahlias and cosmos naturally have a shorter vase life. I like to call them “event flowers” because they look gorgeous on day 1-2 and then start declining after that. I know dahlias are super popular for their unique characteristics, but it’s just something to be mindful of. Zinnias, sunflowers, marigolds, strawflower, etc have incredible vase life (up to two weeks if properly cared for). I have a story highlight on Instagram titled “Flower Care” which gives the estimated vase life for each flower type, as well as tips to ensure your flowers last as long as possible. Some recommended tips for long lasting blooms: trim stems at an angle before placing in water. Use a clean vase and fill halfway with fresh, cool water. Add flower food to nourish and protect your blooms from bacteria. Keep flowers in a cool spot, away from direct sunlight. Change water and re-trim stems every couple of days. And remove any wilted leaves or petals to extend freshness.

  • In 2026, we will start offering weekly flower deliveries on Mondays. Both bouquet subscriptions and a la carte flowers will have a delivery option for a fee. If picking up from the farm or farmers market, there will be no fee. For wholesale accounts, delivery days will vary. Please contact us for more details.

  • We currently sell at The Goshen Farmers Market, directly from our farm, and occasional pop-ups at local businesses. I always post on Instagram & Facebook where we’ll be and what will be available, so be sure to stay tuned on our social media!

  • We cut our flowers in the early mornings and evenings (during the coolest parts of the day) to ensure the flowers will have good vase life. Flowers at the farmers market are cut the night before and morning of. Bouquet subscriptions, custom arrangements and bulk orders are typically cut the morning of and sometimes the night before (depending on pick up time if picking up from our farm). We like to cut flowers as close as possible to when you’re needing them so that they are super fresh! Because flowers are cut to order, payment is required at time of ordering/before we start cutting your flowers.

  • Not at the moment, but we plan to start selling seeds and tubers at the end of the 2026 season/beginning of the 2027 season! Once we have that up and running, we will sell the seeds and tubers from our website (shipping to U.S. addresses only), from our farm and at the farmers market. Stay tuned for that!

  • Once you allow the general public to come onto your farm for u-picks, photography, events, tours, etc, you then become a form of agritourism, which raises insurance costs. With the added insurance costs also comes the cost to maintain the flower field. Seeds, tubers, drip irrigation, landscaping… all of that comes with a cost to us. While we would love to offer people to come take pictures for free, it just wouldn’t be realistic, and we wouldn’t be able to afford the costs to maintain the field where pictures are being taken. We try to always be transparent, and I hope this gives better insight as to why there is a fee.

  • Our U-pick field will be opening in May 2026 and will be open through fall. The U-pick field will consist of various seasonal cut flowers. The U-pick field will have select timeslots for photographers (timeslot must be booked through our website) and select hours for the general public to cut flowers.

We will have a bouquet making station, self-pay options and the basic tools/posted instructions necessary to properly cut flowers.

    Admission + Prices:

Admission: $5 per person (admission waived if purchasing flowers. Kids under 5 are free admission) | Posy: $5 (5 stems) | Handful: $25 (20 stems) | Jar: $35 (30 stems) | Bucket: $80 (70 stems). If purchasing the posy or handful option, please bring your own jar/vase to transport your flowers home.

Closed-toe shoes, sunhats, sunscreen and bug spray are encouraged. Please keep in mind this is a farm, so there will be uneven terrain and stinging bugs present. If you have a bee allergy, you should avoid attending.

Flower quality is best when they are cut during the coolest part of the day (early morning and early evening), so please keep this in mind when you plan your visit. Although our u-pick field will be open all day, cutting flowers during the hottest part of the day can reduce their vase life.

This farm is our home, please be mindful and respectful of our property. There is 24-hour video and audio surveillance so please do not attempt to steal or cause damage, as you will be prosecuted for your crimes.

While we do live on the property, we may not always be present at the u-pick field. But if we are, we will be more than happy to guide you on how to properly cut flowers if you’re new to it! We love meeting and connecting with folks in the community!

    Restroom on-site for u-pick guests.

  • Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the farm/u-pick field. Only service animals are allowed. We cannot allow pets due to this being a working farm with our own animals and livestock.

  • Yes! We grow some seasonal fruit (and pumpkins in the fall). When we have fruit available, we sell it at our farm stand and at the farmers market.
